How can I make a cash contribution to the work of ReStore? _____________________________________________________
What is a ReStore? ReStore is a resale business that sells new and used building materials and home improvement items to the general public. All materials are donated by local retail businesses, building contractors, suppliers and individuals, and are made available for sale to the public at 50% to 90% below retail prices.
How does ReStore benefit Oneida County Habitat for Humanity? The ReStore supports the work of Oneida CountyHabitat for Humanity by providing a facility where members of the community can donate materials that are re-sold and all proceeds benefit Habitat. All revenue generated from the ReStore benefits the mission of Oneida County Habitat for Humanity to build, renovate and revitilize safe, decent and affordable homes for low income, disabled and elderly families and homeowners. Habitat has been working in Oneida County since 1990 and since then has built and rehabbed 22 homes.
